City Council - Wiki in the classroom. Education Equity Project 2.0

On Thursday 23 July, at 17 pm, will take place at the Citadel of Roses the presentation of the class Wiki, a heritage education project 2.0, which will be announced this initiative and the results of the first experience , conducted IES Island of Rhodes during this academic year.

During the event, students who have participated in the activity will take the floor to explain his experience, along with Professor José Luis Tejeda (head of Island Studies Institute and professor at Rhodes College Education University of Girona). The same characters are therefore responsible for bringing the participants to this initiative, the result of efforts to make research a real and committed to their immediate environment.

This conference aims to inform the activity to the general public and especially in schools of the municipality, with the aim of encouraging them to participate in the project during the next year. While the day is a public recognition of the efforts of kids who have worked on this experience during this course.

The Wiki is a wiki platform on cultural and natural heritage of Roses, which allows the direct involvement of the public on its content management, providing information, articles, experiences, audiovisual archives, editing texts written by other people, etc..
